After that the AG Chhattisgarh established 6th August 2001 and the head office of Accountant general remain in Raipur after that the state government started its online facilities which is for G2C in this the govt employees can get details related to their funds deduction etc from AG website, The aim of online facilities this department is to minimize the man power and reduce the eroor with latest technology. Therefore the dept commenced its activities from rented premises at Fafadih for computerized compilation of State Government Accounts (known as VLC— Voucher Level Compilation). Work of General Provident Fund, Pension Group & Audit wing commenced at Pandri, w.e.f August 2002 and April 2003 respectively.
The AG dept main role is to Work of General Provident Fund, Pension Group & Audit wing, Now retired persons can get their pension status GPF final withdrawal status etc online, also the existing govt service persons can get information related to their PF account or salary slip at their home without going anywhere. Let us explain one by one:
How to Issue of Annual Accounts Slips of General Provident Fund.
Govt. Process: When AG department post all credits to employee account it is called Subscriptions and when it deductus or debit then its called withdrawals, The treasuries revised and received the GPF of all subscribers from the GPF schedules every month General Provident Fund Annual Accounts Slips are generated after that the department distribute it to various subscribers through various Drawing and Disbursing Officers.
Last date for receiving: The last date for issue for General Provident fund accounts slips in Chhattisgarh is 31 July 2013.
How and When to check the annual statement of GPF:
The General Provident Fund A/C Statements for the year 20**-**(EX. 2012 -13 or 2013-14) were dispatched manually in due time. Department also upload the same statement online in official website ag36g.cag.gov.in where the subscribers can check them using the below link. There are last ten year annual statements are available. Note that From 2013-14 onwards GPF Account Statements will only be issued through e-mode.
Here subscribers have to fill some basic informations like
1 Employee code (Which is provided by state government for various purpose)
3 Security Image
After filling all these you can check your annual statement online.
Non-receipts: In some cases when subscriber (govt. employee) did not get any receipt of annual statement then subscriber can obtain a copy of GPF account slip by sending a request through the DDO.
Missing Credits and Debits: Sometimes subscriber find some missing credits and debits depicted in the accounts slip which is also issued by the accountant general Chhattisgarh office will be cleared and adjusted on receipt of details of the same from the subscriber forwarded through the DDO.
GPF Final Payment
Final Payment is requested by subscriber or department at the time of retirement of employee before the four (4) months of his/her retirement.A GPF subscriber is entitled to get his GPF balance in this account after closure of the account. The General Provident Fund final balance would be authorized within 30 (thirty to sixty days) to 60 days.
